Welcome to Heritage Academy. An Islamic school with a difference!

At our school, we aim to nurture young people with strong Islamic faith, knowledge, and character -individuals who will go out into the world, guided by Islamic values, to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We aim to provide a broad and ambitious education within a nurturing Islamic environment, where pupils are encouraged to strive for excellence and high standards in both their studies and their character. We will teach our pupils a wide range of subjects so they can better understand the world Allah has created.

We aim to nurture strong character rooted in Islamic teachings and the shared values of honesty, endeavour, resilience, imagination, tolerance, ambition, growth and excellence.

We aim to prepare our pupils to understand the world around them, to think independently, and to live as peaceful, responsible, respectful, and compassionate members of society, guided by the teachings of Islam.

We aim to prepare our pupils for life in modern Britain and the wider world, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to engage positively with others.

QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED TEACHERS

With excellent classroom practitioners, you can be sure that your child is getting the very best classroom instruction. Our staff care deeply about our school and the local community. We promise to hire the very best teachers who are experts in their subject so that each student can be stretched and challenged to fulfil his potential.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Our mission is to provide an inspiring and challenging curriculum to develop independent and enquiring learners. Our Islamic school curriculum will create an environment where questioning, academic risk-taking, critical thinking and the freedom to learn from mistakes are all encouraged. We offer a relevant curriculum designed to nurture high aspirations, promote positive attitudes, committed and resilient students who take pride in their achievements and are prepared for the opportunities and challenges for young men in the 21st century, both in Britain and across the globe.

ISLAMIC CURRICULUM

The goal of the Islamic school curriculum is that students will grow up to be balanced, virtuous and upright individuals educated within an Islamic ethos and with Islamic etiquette. Each student will develop the capacity to understand and work with individuals from other backgrounds and cultures. Our students will fulfil their civic duty of working with the whole community to create harmony and understanding. Students have timetabled worship lessons for recitation of the Noble Quran with a comprehensive hifdh (Quran memorisation) programme.
